Do YOU TRAVEL? What are your traveling rates?

I am based out North Central Iowa, however I travel all over the Midwest and beyond. Your travel fee is waived if your event will take place within the state of Iowa!

For interstate traveling please email me so we can talk about the details.

Do you require a retainer fee?

When you block/reserve an event date with me, I will not make other arrangements for that date(s). Therefore I do require a non-refundable retainer of $500 to reserve your day and a signing of a contract. The Final payment is made 30 days prior to your event date.

How many pictures will we receive?

I typically deliver anywhere from 80-100 images per hour. Quality over quantity, but sometimes I just can't decide on the perfect shot and so you get more!

What sort of rights do I get with my images?

As a photographer, I retain full rights of the images I produce with my equipment on the day of the event. However I give printing rights to my clients. What does this mean? It means you are able to use images however you wish limited to personal use such as making prints for your home, family and friends. Printing rights DOES NOT include commercial rights therefore you may not use images to submit to contests, magazine prints, online blogs or submit to vendors without my permission due to copyright infringement. However if you wish do enter any of these please contact me!

Can I purchase full rights to my images?

The answer is yes ... to the edited images that is. As a professional I only deliver images deemed credible and up to standard of my work. I do not deliver raw images nor unedited work to anyone. Further information will be written out in the signed contract upon booking and paying the retainer fee.

How do I reserve you for our wedding day?

To reserve me for your wedding day I only need two things: a signed contract and retainer. Once we've chatted either in person or on the phone to make sure we're a good fit and that I'm available on your day, I'll send you the contract and you can mail the personal or cashiers check back with the signed contract. Once those things are done, I will put it on my calendar and the date will be yours. Next up is scheduling your engagement session!

How Soon will I get my images?

I do not outsource my work, which means each image is individually hand edited to compliment the rest of the gallery! In the contract that you will sign upon booking it states that delivery time is from 6-8 weeks. Closer to 8 weeks during busy fall season for weddings, however I always strive to deliver images before if time allows.

For portraits delivery time is 3/4weeks

You will receive an online gallery link with all your web sized photos. You can download all the photos from the gallery, as well as share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!

Do you have a second shooter?

Yes, I do! I work with several other photographers that also specialize in weddings who can assist me. You can add an additional photographer to any of the A la Carte collections for an additional $400

How are my wedding images delivered?

I deliver all wedding images in a USB drive. This ensures that you are able to download to a computer or print with ease. I still recommend that you download the images onto a computer or laptop to ensure you have your images saved in case you lose your USB drive. In case you lose your USB drive without backing up your images I will provide you a new set for a small fee.

I archive images for up to a year. After that year I archive any images and there is a $100 fee for a new gallery on a USB drive.

I am not responsible for USB drives not working once they are in your possession. Please back up your files in minimum of two devices.

Do I have to order prints through you?

In short no. However I have spent the time to find a professional printing lab with quality paper and many options to archive your images.
